What Inspired You To Create These Two Brilliant & Unique Promotions?

Yeah so really I would say that spot monkey promotions really is kind of you know I run events regular events under the name of spot monkey promotions but then also I have kind of an entire umbrella of events that I that I do so I do regular events you know they’ve been primarily in Bavia Ohio which is just outside of Cincinnati under the spot monkey name and we give each name each event a name you know earlier this year we had chapter one then we had uh Ruffin feathers then we had good night for a street fight. Then on Friday November 3rd we have the whole shebang so similar to you know most promotions we give you know the the events a name you know outside of that I do fundraisers for various um schools throughout Southern Ohio so Throwdown in Georgetown is the first one that I’ll be doing in the town of Georgetown Ohio that’s going to happen on Friday November 17th. I’ve also been blessed they have the opportunity to do some fundraisers for some others so we have a a an event that we do it’s been the spring primarily but I’ve done three of them so far they’ve been called Rumble on the river which is in Manchester Ohio which is a small town about an hour and 20 minutes east of Cincinnati it’s a very tiny Town. Actually I had Jimmy Hart at that event a few years ago and he thought he was in the middle of nowhere and he didn’t think that there was any way we were going to have anyone at this event and he was just Lally blown away at how many people we had and you know at subsequent events for rumble on the river I’ve had Victoria I’ve had Brutus The Barber Beefcake everyone that we take out there is just like oh my goodness where have you taken me there’s going to be five people here and every time we blow them away we have you know 400 450 people in the building which for Ohio you know where even United States independence is a pretty respectable number so it’s kind of it is kind of complicated to maybe keep all of my events under the you know make sense of everything but spot monkey promotions is the kind of overarching you know parent company and then I kind of create separate Facebook pages for events to tie them to the unique communities that they take place in. So I have rumble on the river I have the battle and Berg which we just had which featured former WWE Superstar tag team champion Paul London it also featured the current NWA World Champion and former impact world champion EC3 and then on Friday November 17th we have to throw down in Georgetown which will feature Jimmy Hart as well my you know my next event on Friday November 3D which is the whole shebang in Bavia Ohio that’ll feature Jimmy Hart it will also feature Sammy Callahan who’s fresh on the independence after his run in Impact Wrestling so I’ve known Sammy a while it’ll be you know interesting and always you know you never know what’s going to happen with Sammy on the show so that’ll be great really looking forward to that one on the third.

Tim Discusses Chris Hero Story Of When He Went To Australia For A Wrestling Event

Yes I remember hearing he’s told me that story and I knew it made a show but I yeah I I’d never talked to anyone that actually had seen it that’s that’s hilarious yeah yeah it’s actually that’s it’s very I think that’s pretty common guys trying to sneak through as just a on a you know visitors Visa or just you know you know folks trying to go from the US to Canada Canada to US and say well I’m just you I’m not working I’m just training and actually I think that’s uh why speedball Mike Bailey who’s done some work in New Japan and Impact and GCW he I believe was banned from the United States for several years because he got caught trying to um cross into the United States without the proper kind of paperwork so don’t don’t I believe that’s the situation you know don’t hold me I guess I should say he allegedly did that I don’t want to get any trouble with him but I believe that is because everyone said he’s a tremendous wrestler and everyone says he’s is a wonderful man so um but yeah it’s if there’s any aspiring wrestlers out there get your get your official paperwork because you don’t want to be banned from a from a country so especially you know if you’re a company like WWE if you know you’re trying to make 50 bucks on the independence and try to cross over the Border you know any border to you know to make that booking without the right Visa you know if you know in the instance of Mike Bailey or anyone you know if you get banned from coming to the United States or you get banned from going to Canada that can really put a real damper on your you know your wrestling career because obviously WWE, AEW you know a even Impact NWA they want to hire wrestlers that they’ve got the ability to not only promote but to you know to tour worldwide with so um do everything legally that’s my only advice to everybody.

Tim Chats About November 3rd Event With Ron Mathis Vs Josh Bishop In A Tables Match

Sure so yeah at our last event that we had a good night for street fight Ron Mathis was in the main event in a street fight against a gentleman by the name of Justin Xavier who is very young 22 years old you know if you’re not familiar with with Justin Xavier look him up he is you know he is one that has made great strides as an athlete you know came out of Cincinnati but he actually trained at the nightmare factory for several months I was I think it was last year I think it was last year this year I can’t remember I’m old but he actually it was it was last year because when he was at the nightmare factory so not only did he train with QT Marshall and Glacier who was actually one of the trainers there he actually got to spend quite a bit of time with Cody Rhodes because at the time Cody had left AEW but he hadn’t appeared yet in WWE so Justin actually spent quite a bit of time with him but great young athlete Justin Xavier wrestled the veteran Ron and they were in a street fight Justin put up a a hard fight but uh Ron was able to conquer him and after the match being the dastardly healed that he is Ron declared that he could beat any man anywhere any time in any kind of match possible and at the time the crowd had been chanting for tables in the street fight that had just happened uh that they did not get any so Joshua Bishop came out you know he laid down the challenge said if Ron thinks he can beat anywhere any you know anyone anywhere anytime and any stipulation um Bishop was going to take him up on that challenge and since the fans had asked for tables he would give them tables so that you know on Friday November 3rd it’s going to be a tables match you know for those not familiar with Ron he you know is he’s gosh he’s been around probably 15 years now I’ve been a part of his career for a long time So you know Ron is afraid of of no one Joshua Bishop is just is just a psychopath so I imagine the two of them going at it is going to be crazy anyway but when you throw tables into the mix I can’t imagine how Wild it’s going to be so really looking forward to that.

Tim Talks November 17th Between Damien Chambers vs Sami Callihan

Yeah so that is that is going to be a big matchup that’s going to be a huge test for Damien Chambers Damien out of Columbus he’s wrestled for me several times at some of my shows also he participates in the Tri-state Wrestling shows he’s done some work for AEW and Ring of Honour so I know recently on one of the episodes of, Rampage actually Daman Chambers teamed up with Lord crew on Rampage to to fight Ausie open you know so certainly it’s he’s a talent that I just don’t it’s not just me that’s recognizing his talent so you know he he also does quite a bit of work in wrestling revolver which has a tremendous roster as well um you know doing that work in AEW, Ring of Honour so certainly Tony Khan and others are recognizing the talents of Damien Chambers but you know Sami Callihan he’s the draw he’s the death machine he’s you know the guy that’s been under contract to impact, MLW, NXT he’s World travelled you know it’s it’s it’s one where you know he’s he’s on the independence for the first time in a long time you know he’s he’s been doing a lot of the TV stuff the last few years so it’ll be interesting to see if we’re going to get the you know the hungry motivated Sami or we going to get the guy that’s not used to the independence and or we’re going to see if you know Damien Chambers can shock the independent wrestling world and beat a man that he’s become quite familiar with in wrestling revolver in Sami Callihan.

Tim Discusses About Bringing The Boogeyman Into His Shows Next Year

Yes you know he’s one that you know is maybe on my radar yeah that’s that’s you know he’s one that’s you know on my radar and you know that’s the thing he he may not been you know someone that I would have personally brought in but you know I have to balance on what I want to see versus what you know the audience wants to see and you know if we run into those instances of where we find both
