What Made You Accept The Invite?

It just looked really exciting you know someone from Manchester all my interviews are usually with Americans or Asia someone local let’s do that.

How Was Growing Up In India?

Well my mum was Portuguese my dad is American my mum put me in a boarding school in Gohar because there was family there Italian priest on my fathers side and just became home. I got routes in Gohar as well but I’m very lucky to have three countries that I can call home which is very rare but I’m in Gohar I got people in Gohar calling me the local son the local star in Portugal they call me the Portuguese international singer because I’m Portuguese and in England Leicester local boy I will take it all.

Did Oliver Enjoy Living In Dubai?

Yes well I my mother worked in Dubai 10 to 11 years you know and what I did I was studying all over the place I was in England and Gohar before I decided to do my NBA in Dubai that’s how I got to Dubai got a bit of family life you know or otherwise we were all travelling you know the entire family. I was a musician as well so Dubai was great 5 years I was in Dubai but I have to say it’s not a place I would like to call home if you know what I mean. It’s a very formal if that makes sense you know it’s a great place for holiday and you can take it in short burse if you know what I mean. 5 years was a long stretch for me being in Dubai but it is a fantastic place for electronics and me being a gadget freak buying all the latest gadgets and stuff like that so it was good. Met a lot of people from different countries though that’s great thing about Dubai Gohar you get people from all over the world and spend time in these tourist places.

Was There A Particular Nationality Oliver Didn’t Expect To come Across In Dubai?

I couldn’t really say a certain nationality because you are literally get people from Uber you know of all the places Argentina you got how did you get to Gohar or how did you get to Dubai you know they were there working or playing music or living there it was amazing to see people from all over the world you know.

Did The People Of Dubai Enjoy Oliver’s Music?

Oh they did I was lucky in Dubai I had a lot of fans due to my music was doing well before I got to Dubai as I started getting on newspapers things like that when I was 15. So when I got to Dubai I was starting to get known in the international music scene and one day I got a call I was traveling and not in Dubai I think I was in Gohar or Portugal or something and I got a call from an ex girlfriend from Denmark right who’s a investment banker and she would travel all over the world. She calls me from Dubai’s international airport saying Oliver I can see you everywhere I was like what are you talking about so apparently I was on the cover of E+ Magazine which is the national weekly magazine of Dubai and I was on the cover and I was all over the magazine’s and the magazine’s literally all over stands coffee shops and she sees them everywhere and I missed that as I wasn’t in Dubai at that point.

It Says You For Your Big Start In 1999 When People Got To Hear From You For The First Time?

Right right ok listen man I’m 18 till I die it doesn’t feel that long ago it’s truly a great question it’s really funny I can look back as I be sitting there having a drink with my friends and whatever it be just the other day I was on the tour at the heart rock cafes in India or the heart rock cafes in Chicago that was 15 years ago but it feels like just a few weeks ago it’s just time disappears just feels things are just happening at the same time if you know what I’m trying to say.

What Can We Expect From Oliver This Year?

Glad you asked me that because there is this new single that I release called mama taught me okay so I released that as a preview to my EP that’s releasing uh next month okay end of next month early April. So there’s this massive music video that we filmed in Leicester and uh and parting in America and Goa as well so but most most of it has been filmed in in Leicester on My Big Fat Boy Harley Davidson. This video was filmed a lot on my fat boy my brand new Fat Boy Harley Davidson and that video has been it’s a very special video because that song if you listen to the song um you’ll understand why it’s a very special video because the song is very special uh dedicated to my mom you know who’s been my uh my biggest support from the backing in music and new life really. So it was released on my mother’s birthday but it was a preview to the whole EP that’s releasing which is the blue’s zp. We’ve got five songs coming up on this EP with the one song which is an Eric Clapton cover which I’m very excited about which I’ll be releasing shortly as a single as well so yeah so there’s this mama taught me EP uh with a very massive music video which releases uh very soon actually like in a month.
