@Phenom_Jazz is a women pro wrestler who is best known for her time in ECW, WWE, Impact Wrestling & NWA. Jazz chats with Edward to talk about her year in 2022 to being inducted into the Women’s Hall Of Fame to working a few shows here in the UK and if Jazz plans on coming over this year, Dogg Pound Championship Wrestling, Differences between Bake Beans with Eggs and Bacon compared to just Eggs & Bacon, Jazz goals for 2023.
Jazz Year In 2022:
It was a good year busy as you mentioned working with the NWA as a producer for the women’s division excited about that other bookings the first nominee for the women’s hall of fame that was pretty exciting being induced with Luna Vachon & Madusa like icing on the place how cool is that.
Does Jazz Ever Think She Will Get That Phone Call From A Bigger Companies To Be Inducted Into Our Hall Of Fame:
In this business never say never who knows we will see I will say this when that phone call does happen I just hope I am still alive on this earth so that I can accept it.
Will Jazz Be At RAW 30th Anniversary:
I will tell you this not trying to kayfabe but I have not had a phone call to be apart of the 30th Anniversary Of RAW so I guess I will be watching on TV or through clips online. Yeah there’s still time but as of now my phone hasn’t ranged or received any email.
Does Jazz Have a Particular Moment From Her Time On Monday Night RAW:
Yeah I mean I had alot of fun memories there my debut at Survivor Series that was how cool was that come in as a surprise but my most favourite memorable moment probably be WrestleMaina where I went out as Women champion and came back as Women champion which made me the first African American women to do that that’s most definitely my highest moment honoured
You Were At AEW Back A Few Months Ago What Was It Like To Attending a AEW Show:
First of all I was shocked when I receive that call from Brandi Rhodes I was very shocked of course hounered and that was probably not probably but my first time in front of a big stage since WWE in 2006 that was pretty damn cool to walk down that ramp and hear the people go crazy and screaming the pop was really really nice.
What Does Jazz Do When She’s In The UK:
I don’t get to do very much when been there the first time I came over I worked with Dan Reed with his all pro women’s promotion over here that was that was crazy the fans were insane over there oh man that was awesome the energy was something else considering there was no chairs in the facility for the fans to sit down they stood up I mean did three shows back to back they were there standing full of energy ready I mean being very supportive that was my first time over there. The second time I was over there I worked with Julie Hannah, Saraya & Ricky Knight promotion over there that was pretty cool they had amazing show great production it was really really nice in fact my husband and I have been talking them before the holiday season and have to reach back out and reconnect as trying figure something out to get over there and work sometime this year.
Jazz On The Differences between Our Fish & Chips As Well Why We Put Bake Beans On Our Eggs & Bacon:
I did get to try your fish and chips it’s different just going to say it’s different definitely edible I was hungry and I ate it but it’s different I mean it was good. I will tell you what really threw me was went to have breakfast people were eating eggs & Bacon with bake beans never seen that not for breakfast that was different. I said no beans for me oh I’m sure I ate bake beans I love bake beans but never had it with my bacon and eggs. But with my bake beans I like to eat them with barbeque sauce barbeque chicken, barbeque ribs, steaks or whatever grill steaks. Subway was different but it wasn’t different in like what is this you know a tab bit different but was good I ate fried chicken you have good fried chicken.
Most Challenge of Running A School:
I think but going to say my biggest challenge is to try you know this new generation we call them our kids to really have the passion and the love for we have for the business everyone wants to wrestle but sometimes they don’t put in the hard work we tell them you know we train 7 days a week you know look at us like yeah we train 7 days a week but I’m like I was on a PPV 6 months into my training you know because I put the work in so it’s like they don’t really get and I’m not just saying that about our students but this generation now these millennials it’s like they want to be stars but they don’t want to put the work in to become a star you know they think it be given to them but it’s not it’s not going to be given to you really work hard to earn it as there are millions of people that want be on same platform for everyone to be on takes hard work that’s our biggest challenge
Jazz Favourite Moment In ECW:
My favourite moment in ECW would have to be my first ever PPV match at HeatWave 1999 against Jason Knight that’s one of my all time favourite moments that’s when everyone got to see Jazz I came in as PJ entourage you know but In order for me to stand they saw something in me and gave me a opportunity start having single matches and actually one of my first matches against Jason Knight at HeatWave 1999 so that there as always go down as you know one of my all time favourite moments as I consider that as the birth of Jazz.
Jazz Goals For 2023:
My goals are to stay healthy, live to see another year and just to trying to focus on our school on our promotion be as successful as possible as like I said we are working on somethings to where to put Dogg Pound on the map even more just trying to have a happy and healthy life you know.
